Senior detective of the Bureau of Economic Security bought an apartment in Odesa for 4 million

Maksym Kondratiuk, a senior detective with the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Investigation in Odesa Oblast, became the owner of a 117-square-meter apartment in Odesa last year.

As the detective indicated in his declaration for 2024, he took out a mortgage for the apartment.

The detective's wife owns a 47.6-square-meter apartment in Odesa and a 2.2-square-meter storage room. For transportation, he uses his father's car, a 2017 Hyundai Tucson.

Last year, Maksym Kondratiuk received UAH 853 thousand in salary and UAH 25 thousand in compensation for part of the interest rate on a loan under the E-House program. His wife received UAH 9 thousand in social benefits in 2024.

The savings of the senior detective of the Odesa Regional BES consisted of 7 thousand hryvnias in bank accounts and 2 thousand dollars in cash as joint property with his wife. Viktoriia Kondratiuk has 200 thousand hryvnias in cash, and another 5 thousand hryvnias in bank accounts.

According to the anti-fraud project 190, Maksym Kondratiuk has been working at the BES since 2022 - he joined the Bureau of Economic Security almost immediately after its foundation in 2021.

Prior to that, he worked at the reorganized Main Department of the State Fiscal Service in Odesa Oblast, where he held the position of senior law enforcement officer of the first operational department of the Financial Crimes Department.

Meanwhile, in 2024, MPs from Odesa region declared more than 30 residential properties. Three MPs declared the least amount of property or nothing at all. Among the MPs, Anton Kissé is the leader in terms of the number of residential properties. Oleksiy Honcharenko is in second place. Stepan Cherniavsky took the third position.
