According to the National Police in Kherson region, SBU investigators and law enforcement officers exposed her criminal activities, opened criminal proceedings, and after collecting evidence, referred the case to court.

According to the investigation, the educator voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupation administration and was appointed to the position of "director" of the school. After that, she organized the delivery of Russian textbooks to the school library, placed the symbols of the aggressor country in the institution, hired staff and ensured that the school operated in accordance with Russian standards. The collaborator signed documents to organize the educational process and paid salaries in rubles.

The court found the director guilty of collaboration and aiding the aggressor. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison with confiscation of property and a ban on holding positions in the field of education for 15 years.

The pensioners headed schools established by the Russian occupiers in Skadovsk district during the occupation of the region. Zinchenko headed an illegal school in the village of Tavria, and Pivnenko was in charge of the occupation school No. 3 in Skadovsk. Both women implemented Russian educational programs and engaged in propaganda among children. The court sentenced them to three years in prison and banned them from holding positions in educational institutions for 10 years.

Recently, law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion on a professor at a local university in Kherson who organized the education of students according to Russian standards.
