The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation, filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to declare the assets of one of the heads of the territorial center for recruitment and social support in Odesa region totaling more than UAH 1.9 million unjustified.

According to the SBI press service, these assets are to be recovered as state revenue.

In particular, it was established that the official's family members acquired ownership of two Toyota C-HR and Toyota C-HR Hybrid cars worth UAH 600 thousand and UAH 1.3 million, respectively. At the same time, the official could not confirm the legitimacy of the sources of income or savings that could allow such an acquisition.

Meanwhile, on June 19, a panel of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal increased the bail for the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov, to UAH 45.4 million. On July 22, 2023, the former Odesa military commissar was served with a notice of suspicion on three articles - illegal enrichment, unauthorized leaving the place of service, and evasion from service. These sanctions provide for up to 10 years in prison in case of conviction.

Earlier, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption published a list of 10 declarations in which violations were found during a full inspection, and the list included the declaration of a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council for 2023, which was found to be inaccurate. In particular, the deputy failed to declare expenses of more than UAH 1.8 million - this money was used to buy a BMW motorcycle and a Renault car, although these transactions are also not listed in the declaration.
