In the declaration of Andriy Rozov , director of the Economic Development Department of the Odesa City Council, false information worth UAH 6.2 million was found.

This is reported on the website of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

The NACP checked the official's declaration for 2022 and concluded that Rozov did not indicate in the document property worth more than UAH 6.2 million.

In particular, it concerns an elite apartment in Odesa, which is used by the official himself, but which is registered in his father-in-law's name. In addition, he failed to declare real estate owned by his wife: two garages, two apartments (55.5 and 244 square meters) and a land plot, allegedly because he "did not know" about the inheritance received in 2014.

Inconsistencies were also found regarding the cost of a Skoda Superb car that the official purchased in 2020: the declaration indicated UAH 800,000, while the real price was UAH 1.3 million.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption regarded such actions as intentional declaration of false information, which is a violation of the law.

If the violation is proved in court, Andriy Rozov faces a fine of UAH 51,000 to UAH 85,000, or 150 to 240 hours of community service, or up to two years in prison with a ban on holding certain positions for up to three years.

Meanwhile, experts of the all-Ukrainian public campaign "Certification of Local Council Deputies" analyzed the declarations of the deputies of the Odesa City Council for 2021-2024. According to data from the Unified State Register of Declarations, in 2024, the deputies and their family members declared UAH 1 billion in cash, and another UAH 129.9 million in bank accounts. The total income of the MPs for the year amounted to UAH 349.6 million, and they also own 154 residential properties and 160 hectares of land.
