Russian troops strike Mykolaiv region with ballistic missiles, one killed and one wounded

A missile strike on Mykolaiv region killed a man and injured three other people, damaging agricultural facilities. On the same day, drones attacked Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

On May 29, at 10:05 a.m., Russian troops attacked the Horokhiv community with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Four people were injured in the attack. One of the wounded, a 40-year-old man, died during transportation to the hospital. Three others were taken to a medical facility in Mykolaiv, their condition is stable and serious. The shelling also damaged a granary, a hangar and a tractor of a local farm.

On the same day, the enemy attacked the city of Ochakiv and the coastal area of the Ochakiv community three times with FPV drones. There were no casualties.

At 12:40, there was another FPV drone strike - this time on the Kutsurub community. A residential building was damaged in Dniprovske village, with no casualties.

On the night of May 28, Mykolaiv region was again shelled by the enemy. The air defense worked, but the damage could not be avoided.

Around midnight, an FPV kamikaze drone hit the Halytsynivka community: in the village of Lupareve, a 7-year-old girl was injured by the fragments and treated on the spot. The explosion damaged two private houses and three cars.

On the night of May 25, Russian troops launched a massive attack with Shahed kamikaze drones on the regional center. At 2 am, a missile hit Ochakiv, damaging one of the recreational facilities. About 200 homes were left without electricity, and the power has almost been restored.

Earlier, on the night of May 25, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack with Shahed kamikaze drones in Mykolaiv. The shelling killed two civilians and injured six others. Infrastructure, offices, private houses and power lines in several districts of the city were damaged. Two floors of an apartment building were partially destroyed, and the debris damaged a neighboring high-rise building.
