Night attack on Mykolaiv region: Air defense works, there are civilian casualties

On the night of May 25, Mykolaiv suffered a massive attack by kamikaze drones - two people were killed and six injured. The enemy also attacked the Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities with FPV drones, with no casualties.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The night of May 26 was turbulent in the Mykolaiv region, as the air defense forces were actively engaged in combat operations. Official information on the consequences will be available later.

On the night of May 25, Russian troops launched a massive attack with Shahed kamikaze drones on the regional center. The shelling killed two civilians. Six more were injured: three of them were examined and treated on the spot or on an outpatient basis, and three were hospitalized. As of the morning of May 25, the condition of those hospitalized was consistently serious, with no negative dynamics.

On the evening of May 25, at 20:26, a Russian FPV drone attacked the territory of the Kutsurub community. No one was injured in the attack.

On the night of May 26, the enemy twice attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community with FPV drones. No damage or casualties were reported as a result of the attacks.

Also on May 25, Mykolaiv suffered a massive drone attack: a man was killed and five other people were injured. The shelling destroyed two floors of a high-rise building, damaged a neighboring building, offices, an infrastructure facility, private homes, and power grids in several districts of the city. Bashtanka and Mykolaivka districts also came under hostile fire, with houses and agricultural machinery damaged.

On the evening of May 3, as a result of shelling, a power line was cut off in Bashtanka district by drone strikes, leaving almost 900 subscribers without electricity.

On April 30 and May 1, Russians attacked the region with FPV drones - Kutsurubska community suffered the most, with six strikes recorded. In Dniprovske village, a house and a summer kitchen were damaged, and in Dmytrivka, a drone hit an apartment building in the evening.
