Russian Troops Strike Kherson Region, Injuring 5 in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck in the Kherson region, injuring five people.

According to the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the occupiers shelled critical and social infrastructure and residential areas in more than 30 settlements in the region, including Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Ivanivka, and Kherson itself. Private houses came under fire - a total of 9 houses were damaged, as well as a warehouse, a garage, and private cars.

Among the destroyed facilities was one of the "Sanctuary Points" where local residents could get help under fire.

One of the incidents occurred in Zmiivka, where a 62-year-old local resident hit a "petal" anti-personnel mine near his home. He sustained blast injuries and leg wounds and is currently in hospital.

At night, an ambulance hit an explosive device near Novovorontsovka. The explosion damaged the wheel of the vehicle, but fortunately, the medics and the patient were not injured.

On the morning of March 4, Russian troops attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 67-year-old man was wounded. He received an explosive trauma, as well as injuries to his arms and legs. The victim was immediately hospitalized for medical care.

On March 2, the Russian military dropped explosives from unmanned aerial vehicles on residential areas, a minibus and a civilian car. As a result of Russian aggression, 4 people were killed and 10 others were injured.

This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 were injured.
