Russian troops launch air strike in Kherson region with four guided bombs

Russian troops continue shelling the liberated settlements on the right bank of the Kherson region. Over the past day, the enemy used artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, tactical aviation and various types of UAVs to strike residential areas in 19 settlements of the region.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Kherson region.

The attacks damaged an apartment building and eight private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, and a police car.

On the afternoon of February 5, the enemy launched an air strike on Vesele in Kakhovka district with four guided bombs. FPV drones damaged an apartment building in Zymivnyk and a private house in Novooleksandrivka. Artillery shelling in Chornobaivka also destroyed a private house.

At night, a 43-year-old woman was injured in the Korabelny district of Kherson during the shelling of a residential area. She was hospitalized with explosive wounds, head and limb injuries, contusion and a burn to her leg. In addition, four private houses were damaged.

The occupants shelled the coastal area and the central part of Kherson with multiple rocket launchers. In the Tavriysky neighborhood, an FPV drone damaged a private house and a police car. In Dniprovsky district, artillery fire damaged a private house in the coastal zone. All relevant services were working at the sites of the attacks, documenting the consequences of the attacks and providing assistance to the victims.

During the day, the police registered 307 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents, and opened 15 proceedings under Article 438 "War Crimes" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On February 2, three civilians were injured in Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling, and residential buildings and vehicles were destroyed. The attacks damaged five apartment buildings and three private houses, a school, a shop, a police car, five civilian cars, a bus and a garage.
