Kherson court upholds fine imposed on 19-year-old by TCC

In Kherson, the court canceled a fine of 17 thousand hryvnias that the territorial recruitment center tried to impose on a 19-year-old man.

The decision was made by the Kherson City Court.

According to the court, the recruiting center accused the young man of allegedly failing to appear for a military medical examination and violating the rules of military registration. For this, he was fined UAH 17,000.

However, in the course of the case, it turned out that at the time of the ruling, the guy was only 19 years old. At the same time, the law obliges only citizens between the ages of 25 and 60 to undergo a second military medical examination.

The fine was canceled and the case was closed. The court also ordered the TCC to reimburse him for the court fee.

Earlier, Intent wrote that in Mykolaiv, doctors were exposed who issued fake disabilities for money to evade mobilization. They demanded thousands of dollars for their "services" and accompanied clients at all stages of the scheme.

In addition, in Odesa, an officer of the TCC and JV branch was exposed who promised to "solve the issue" of mobilization through the Oberig electronic system for thousands of dollars. He was demanding money for removing him from the wanted list and issuing a deferment, using his official position.

Also, in late March, a TCC serviceman was exposed in Mykolaiv who promised to "solve the issue" with military registration in exchange for money. According to the investigation, the suspect promised to influence officials and enter false information into the Oberih state register in exchange for a reward. The suspect estimated his "services" at $600.
