In Odesa, an officer of the CCC and JV department was exposed who promised to "solve the problem" of mobilization through the Oberig electronic system for thousands of dollars. He demanded money for removing him from the wanted list and issuing a deferment, using his official position.

This is evidenced by the decision of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa.

According to the investigation, back in December 2025, an officer of the military registration and reservation department, through an acquaintance, contacted a serviceman who was looking for a solution to the problem. During a personal meeting, the officer immediately made it clear that help was possible only for money.

In March, during a meeting near Kulykove Pole in Odesa, he announced the amount, noting that the final price would depend on the availability of medical documents. In fact, the person was put in a hopeless situation: without a bribe, the issue could not be resolved, and mobilization could come instead.

Later, during a meeting near the 411th Battery memorial, the suspect named a specific amount of money - $2,500, and on March 19, he raised it to $3,000, continuing to put pressure on the interlocutor. In exchange for this money, he promised to remove the serviceman from the Oberih system and provide a deferral from mobilization for health reasons.

At the end of March, the scheme reached its final stage: to avoid exposure, the suspect organized the transfer of money through a female intermediary, who, according to the investigation, was unaware of the true nature of the transaction. Near a house in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, she was given $3,000 to hand over to an officer, after which law enforcement detained the suspect.

The court decided to remand the man in custody until May 27, 2026, while setting an alternative bail in the amount of UAH 665,600. If bail is granted, he will be subject to procedural obligations.

Also in April, police detained an officer of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi TCC and JV on suspicion of taking a bribe. He demanded USD 3,000 from a person liable for military service for removing him from the wanted list and issuing a deferral from mobilization for health reasons.
