Enemy strikes at hospital, school and house of culture in Kherson region

The enemy shelled a school, a cultural center and a medical facility in Kherson region. As a result of Russian aggression, 3 people were killed and 10 others were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

Over the past day, more than 35 settlements have come under fire from artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, mortars and drones. The shelling by Russian troops damaged 24 objects, including two apartment buildings and nine private houses, a medical and educational institution, a cultural center, a farm, a warehouse, a garage, three cars and one truck, and gas pipelines.

In Mykilske, a 59-year-old man was killed in the yard of his own house when an explosive device fell from a UAV. In Pravdyne, a Russian attack drone killed a 39-year-old woman, and in Kostyrka, another attack UAV damaged two private houses. A drone attacked a civilian car on the road in Mylivska community: a 70-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and burns to his head and hands, and the vehicle was damaged.

FPV drones also damaged a cultural center and a private house in Novoraysk, a farm in Novovorontsovka, a warehouse in Ukrainka, a car in Chervone, and two residential buildings in Osokorivka and Tomyna Balka. Artillery fire damaged gas pipelines in Bilozerka.

In Dniprovsky district of Kherson, two people were injured when explosives were dropped from a UAV: A 74-year-old woman sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to her head, chest and legs, and a 51-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his back and legs. Both victims were evacuated by police.

Russian troops also damaged an apartment building with an attack drone. In the Korabel neighborhood, an artillery shelling killed a 46-year-old man, and another 50-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to his torso and was evacuated to a hospital. Further shelling of Korabelny district damaged two private houses and a truck.

In the Tavriyskiy neighborhood, artillery damaged an educational institution and an apartment building, and in Shumenske, shelling destroyed a medical facility, a garage, a car and a private house.

Over the past day, police received 383 calls from citizens regarding criminal offenses and other incidents. Under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "War Crimes", 27 proceedings were opened.

According to the official results of 2025, 130 people, including three children, died as a result of drone attacks in Kherson region. In addition, another 1,195 civilians were injured of varying severity as a result of constant drone attacks over the past year.
