The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian Su-34 frontline bomber over the Black Sea during an attack on Odesa region. According to him, the plane took off from the Maikop airfield and was destroyed near the southern coast of Odesa region, near Zmeinyi Island. The crew reportedly did not survive. There is no official confirmation of this information from the Ukrainian command.

The blogger noted that the Su-34 is the main frontline bomber of the Russian army. It is from aircraft of this type that Russia launches most of the guided aerial bombs (CABs) that it regularly strikes at Ukrainian positions and frontline settlements. The Su-34 is capable of carrying up to 8 tons of bombs per combat mission, and the maximum payload of the aircraft is 12 tons. For example, when using CABs weighing about 500 kilograms and 12 suspension points, the total load is about 6 tons.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of January 28, Russia's total losses in the war against Ukraine amounted to 434 aircraft and 347 helicopters.

Also, according to the head of the Odesa Military District, Serhiy Lysak, the enemy attacked the city with attack drones at night. As a result of the attack, an infrastructure facility was damaged, and there were no reports of casualties.

All city services and social transportation are operating normally. Public utilities continue to eliminate the consequences of bad weather and previous enemy attacks.
