Nine buildings damaged in Odesa as a result of Russian night attack

As a result of an enemy attack on the territory of Peresypsky district, about 60 windows and one roof in nine residential buildings were preliminarily damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

In particular, a one-story residential building was destroyed, the 10th floor of a 12-story building, the roof and top floor of a 5-story residential building were damaged, and the glazing in a private household was smashed. In addition, at least 15 cars were damaged.

Two people died as a result of the enemy attack: A 38-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man. A 69-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized.

Since nightfall, utility services have been working at all locations. Specialists have been closing damaged windows, patching roofs and clearing areas of debris and remnants. A mobile operational headquarters was deployed to help the affected residents with the paperwork to receive assistance from the city budget and compensation under the eRestoration program.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 11, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 160 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmash and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense defenses neutralized 133 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country. However, 20 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations, and the downed drones fell (wreckage) at 11 locations.

On the night of April 10, Odesa region again suffered a massive attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on energy and port infrastructure. The damage led to disruptions in power supply. Empty tanks and port equipment were also damaged. There were no casualties. The fires have been localized. All emergency services are working at the scene. The consequences are being recorded and eliminated.
