On July 21, Russian troops shelled the Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv region with FPV drones and artillery. As a result, about 150 consumers in the village of Dmytrivka were cut off from electricity. In particular, two private houses were damaged. There were no casualties.
This was reported by Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
Emergency services promptly localized the damage, and it is known that at 16:01 the power supply was restored and all subscribers were reconnected.
Earlier, on July 17, the Kutsurubska community was attacked by FPV kamikaze drones and artillery, which caused a dry grass fire that was quickly extinguished. During July 20 and on the night of July 21, the Kutsurub community was attacked four times, with the main impact on Dmytrivka. The shelling caused a power outage to 355 households and damage to two private houses, as well as damage to an educational institution.
JSC Mykolaivoblenergo informs that on July 22, some consumers in the Mykolaiv region will be left without electricity due to maintenance and repair works.
Asa reminder, this is not the first time that critical energy infrastructure facilities in the Mykolaiv region have suffered from massive Russian shelling. A year ago, emergency power outages were recorded due to attacks by the Russian army, which resulted in the suspension of trams and trolleybuses in Mykolaiv and the closure of educational institutions.
On July 15, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv region with a Shahed 131/136 UAV, damaging two private houses and an outbuilding in Pervomaiskyi district, and damaging infrastructure in Voznesenskyi district. A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished by rescuers. In particular, the village of Dmytrivka in the Kutsurub community suffered the destruction of four private houses due to artillery shelling. On the same day, Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region was hit, and a 69-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling.
In total, according to the Ministry of Energy, since the beginning of 2024, more than 2,000 settlements in Ukraine have lost power as a result of Russian attacks, mostly in the east and south of the country. Dnipropetrovs'k, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions were the most affected.
