Today, on July 15, an enemy missile hit Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At approximately 13:00, Vitaliy Kim reported that Ochakiv had been hit by a missile attack. According to him, a 69-year-old man was injured as a result of the rocket attack and hospitalized.

The wounded man went to a medical facility. He is being provided with proper assistance.

"A dry grass fire broke out outside the city, the services are working," he wrote.

Dead wood and shrubs caught fire in an open area. Firefighters extinguished the fire over an area of 1 hectare.

We also wrote how the Security Service of Ukraine identified the perpetrator of the shelling of Odesa last year on April 29. Then the Russians fired an Iskander-M missile. According to the prosecutor's office, eight people were killed and 23 injured as a result of the attack.

The missile explosion caused a fire to break out in the famous student palace of the Odesa Law Academy. It is also called "Harry Potter's castle" because of its fabulous appearance. The vice-rector of the International Humanitarian University, Borys Vasyliev, died in his residence and former MP, president of the OJA and MSU, Serhiy Kivalov, was injured.

Also in April 2024, the Center for Public Investigations released a new investigative film about Russia's March 2 terrorist attack in Odesa, when an allegedly conventional Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicle destroyed the entrance of a high-rise building and killed 12 people. Although Russian propagandists tried to shift the blame to Ukrainian air defense, claiming that a missile hit the building.
