Russian Shelling in Kherson Region Kills 1, Injures 11 on March 15

In Kherson region, on March 15, the Russian military shelled residential areas of the region's settlements. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 11 others were injured, including 1 child.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, Antonivka, Novodmitrivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Novoraysk, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Kozatske, Zolota Balka, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Shyroka Balka, Novovorontsovka, Dudchany, Sofiyivka, Kreschenivka were affected, Tomaryne, Virivka, Zelenivka, Shlyakhove, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Vesele, Dniprovske, Zmiivka, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Lvov, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Monastyrske, Olgivka, Poniativka, Priozerne, Romashkove, Sablukivka, Tokarivka, Tyahyntsi, Ukrainka, and the city of Kherson.

The strikes damaged critical and social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements. The Russians also damaged 7 high-rise buildings and 27 private houses. In addition, the occupiers damaged gas pipelines, an outbuilding, a warehouse and private cars.

In the morning, the Russian army shelled Kherson with artillery. One of the shells hit a private house in Dniprovsky district. A 74-year-old man was trapped under the rubble of the destroyed house. Rescuers freed the man. At about 11:30, the Russian occupation army attacked Stepanivka with a UAV. A local resident was killed as a result of the enemy strike. The 82-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life. A 48-year-old resident of Kherson was also hit by an enemy UAV. He sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs.

In addition, many people, including a 15-year-old girl, were injured the day before by Russian UAVs. The Kherson animal shelter "4 Paws" was also damaged as a result of the attack on Kherson with guided aerial bombs.

Intent has already written that on March 13, one person was killed and nine, including a child, were injured in the Kherson region as a result of shelling. The Russian army has shelled 35 settlements in the region. This year, in February, Russian shelling killed 13 residents of Kherson, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
