Russian Attacks Claim 2 Lives in Kherson Region's 31 Settlements

During the day, the Russian invader struck 31 settlements in the de-occupied Kherson region. Two people were killed and one was wounded as a result of the attack.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Zelenivka, Kizomys, Tomyna Balka, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Sofiyivka were under attack, Poniativka, Mykilske, Beryslav, Chervonyi Mayak, Mylove, Kachkarivka, Dudchany, Burgunka, Zmiivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Molodizhne, Monastyrske, Novoberislav, Olgivka, Vesele and the city of Kherson.

The shelling damaged a multi-storey building, 16 private houses, a cell tower, an outbuilding, a garage and a private car.

"Two people were killed and one more was wounded as a result of Russian aggression," Prokudin said.

The prosecutor's office added that a pre-trial investigation was launched over the fact of committing a war crime (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on March 6, the Russian military dropped explosives from a UAV in Beryslav at about 12:40 pm. The explosion of the shell killed a civilian man and woman who were on the street at the time of the attack.

On the night of March 5 , Russian occupation forces attacked the Korabelny district of Kherson. The shelling killed a local resident and damaged residential buildings and other infrastructure.

Earlier, an ambulance exploded on explosives near Novovorontsovka. The explosion damaged a wheel of the vehicle, but fortunately, the medics and the patient were not injured.

This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 were injured.
