In Kherson, an ambulance was injured during the Russian shelling, and two local residents, including a 55-year-old woman, were killed. The enemy continues to shell the city, causing new casualties and injuries.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
In Kherson, an ambulance crew came under attack during the Russian shelling, evacuating a wounded man to the hospital. The medics were transporting a 59-year-old resident of Kherson who had sustained an explosive injury, contusion and abdominal wounds. At that moment, as the team was moving to the hospital, the Russians opened fire on their vehicle.
As a result of this hostile attack, two ambulance workers were injured: A 33-year-old paramedic and a 63-year-old driver. Both received blast injuries and contusions and were promptly hospitalized. They are currently in the hospital receiving the necessary medical care.
It also became known about another tragic death during the shelling. A man who was at a bus stop also fell victim to a Russian attack. He died on the spot from his fatal wounds. In addition, Russian fire ended the life of a 55-year-old woman who was also at the bus stop.
During the day, Russian troops shelled Kherson region, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. The occupiers shelled residential areas, damaging 12 private houses. The Point of Unbreakability, a gas pipeline and several cars were also damaged.
Five people were injured as a result of the attacks. In the morning, a Russian drone dropped explosives on an elderly woman in the Korabelny district of Kherson, who died from her injuries.
On March 25, the Russian army launched ballistic missiles on Kherson and shelled 27 settlements in Kherson region, using aircraft and artillery. The shelling killed one person and injured six others. Also, during the attack on Kherson, a 25-year-old volunteer Oleksandr Ivakhnenko was killed, who was helping local residents restore windows in a house damaged by previous attacks by the occupiers.
