Russian Shelling Hits 45 Localities in Kherson, Injuring 5 People

Over the past day, Russian occupants shelled 45 localities in Kherson region with artillery and aircraft, wounding five people.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to the official, the following settlements came under attack: Kherson, Beryslav, Shyroka Balka, Novoraysk, Havrylivka, Bilozerka, Klapaya, Novodmitrivka, Honcharne, Dudchany, Velyetenskoye, Sukhanove, Mykolayivka, Odradokamyanka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Pryozerne, Novoberislav, Shlyakhove, Zarechnoye, and Daryivka.

The shelling damaged four multi-storey buildings, 17 private houses, an agricultural enterprise, a factory, a gas pipeline and private cars. Five people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Among the injured is a 56-year-old man who was taken to hospital in serious condition.

This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson died as a result of Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 were injured.

On March 7, the Ukrainian government allocated additional funds for the restoration of Kherson and other affected regions. In particular, UAH 5.2 billion will be allocated for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson Oblast. This decision was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Recently, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Kherson region announced the first tender for the overhaul of private residential buildings in the village of Posad Pokrovske of the Chornobaivska rural territorial community.
