Russian Attacks on Kherson Claim 1 Life, Injure 9 in Civilians' Areas

Yesterday, March 1, the occupiers ruthlessly tried to destroy the residential sector and deliberately targeted civilians in Beryslav and Kherson districts of the region. As a result of Russian aggression, one person was killed and nine others were wounded.

According to the Kherson regional police, Kherson, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Bilozerka, Sadove, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Beryslav, Havrylivka, Mykhailivka, Zolota Balka, Krasny Mayak, Novooleksandrivka, Novovorontsovka, Ukrainka, Nova Kamyanka, Kalynivske, Sukhanove, Burgunka, Mykolaivska, Lvov, Olhivka, Tyahyntsi were under artillery, mortars and UAVs. Three apartment buildings and four private houses, a college, four shops, a police car and six civilian cars, a gas pipeline and a garage were damaged.

A Russian drone dropped explosives on a residential area in Zolota Balka, killing a 59-year-old man. The occupation army also dropped explosives from a drone on a residential area in Beryslav. A 70-year-old woman sustained gunshot shrapnel wounds to her head, abdomen and limbs, as well as traumatic amputation of her fingers. The victim was evacuated from the danger zone by police officers, taken to a stabilization center and handed over to an emergency medical team.

In Bilozerka , the Russian military deliberately attacked a police vehicle with a drone, which was damaged. Fortunately, law enforcement officers were not injured. Also, a 46-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the UAV 's drop, and was diagnosed with a mine-blast injury and concussion. The enemy struck Ukrayinka with an FPV drone, damaging a garage there. Enemy UAVs also hit a civilian car in Kizomys, private houses in Sukhanove, Novovorontsovka and Havrylivka .

In Antonivka , a suburb of Kherson, a 54-year-old man suffered a shrapnel wound to his abdomen as a result of a Russian UAV attack. A gas pipeline was damaged as a result of an attack by an FPV drone. The Russian military attacked Engineering with an FPV drone. A 72-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were wounded. Both were hospitalized with explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body. Artillery fire damaged an apartment building and a garage.

In the morning, in Dniprovsky district of Kherson , the occupants hit a civilian car with a drone. Two men aged 35 and 38 sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. A 50-year-old man was wounded in the subsequent explosive drops from the UAV, and two shops, a coffee shop and a car were damaged. An educational institution was damaged by artillery fire. In the central district of the city, the Russian military attacked a gas station with an FPV drone. A 48-year-old man was wounded and diagnosed with explosive trauma and contusion. In the Shumensky neighborhood, Russian artillery hit two apartment buildings, and three cars were damaged. All specialized services were working at the sites of the Russian attacks to provide assistance to the victims, eliminate and document the consequences of the shelling.
