Kherson Under Attack: 9 Injured as Air Defense Downs 3 Drones

On the night of March 10, during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 3 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Antonivka, Beryslav, Burgunka, Vesele, Dniprovske, Dudchany, Zelenivka, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Krupytsia, Lviv, Mykilske, Monastyrske, Olgivka, Osokorivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Fedorivka, Chervonyi Yar, Chervonyi Mayak, Yantarne, Shyroka Balka, Zamozhne, and the city of Kherson. The Russian military also struck at social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaging 3 high-rise buildings and 4 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a warehouse and private cars. Nine people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

In Antonivka, five women and one man sustained injuries of varying degrees during the day due to the explosion of shells dropped by the occupiers from a UAV. One of the victims is in hospital in serious condition.

Around 9:00 a.m., a 55-year-old woman was injured as a result of artillery shelling in Kherson. At about 15:00 the enemy dropped a shell on one of the streets of the regional center. An 18-year-old boy was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds. In addition, private and apartment buildings, warehouses and outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged.

On the morning of March 10, the enemy attacked a car in Dniprovsky district with a drone. Two men aged 35 and 39 were injured. The older man sustained mine-blast trauma and multiple shrapnel wounds to his legs, arms, and face. The 35-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his face. Both victims are currently in hospital.

This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. And in January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
