Over the past day, Russian invaders attacked 35 settlements in Kherson region. Dozens of buildings were damaged by shelling, and civilians, including a child, were injured.
According to the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, dozens of settlements came under enemy fire, including the city of Kherson, as well as Chervonyi Mayak, Beryslav, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Mylove, Novokaira, Dudchany, Veletynske, Kizomys, Stanislav, Goncharne, Nadezhdivka, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Inzhenerne, Pryozerne, Osokorivka, Burgunka, Vesele, Virivka, Dniprovske, Kachkarivka, Komyshany, Lvov, Mykhailivka, Novotyanka, Olhivka, Republican, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, and Tyahyntsi.
The Russian occupiers struck at residential areas and critical infrastructure. A multi-storey building, 43 private houses, gas pipelines, an outbuilding, a garage and civilian cars were damaged.
As a result of the Russian attacks, 13 people were injured, including one child.
On the night of February 44, a local resident was killed in the Russian shelling of the Dniprovsky district of Kherson.
On February 22, the Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on a civilian car in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 58-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma, as well as shrapnel wounds to his back and head. He is currently under medical supervision. On the night of February 20, a powerful explosion shook Kherson - a Russian guided aerial bomb hit a ten-story building. The strike completely destroyed 15 apartments in the building - from the first to the tenth floor. Windows in another 80 apartments were smashed.
In total, in the first month of 2025, more than twelve thousand enemy shells "flew" to the Kherson region. January 2025 was a tragic month for Kherson, as the city lost 16 of its residents during that month.
