Russian troops shelled settlements in Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery, mortars and UAVs, damaging houses, infrastructure and a police car. As a result of the attacks, five people sustained mine-blast injuries and contusions.

Over the past day, Russian troops fired at settlements in Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery, mortars, and UAVs. Kherson and 18 other localities were attacked.
The shelling damaged two apartment buildings and 11 private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, and a police car. Artillery fire damaged a private house in Komyshany, as well as an apartment building and three private houses in Zelenivka. In Ukrainka, FPV drones damaged two private houses.
In the morning, a mortar attack in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson resulted in the injury of a 20-year-old man: he sustained blast trauma, contusion and abrasions to his head. Three private houses were damaged. In the afternoon, artillery hit residential areas, destroying another private house.
Two residents of the area who had suffered from shelling earlier received medical aid: A 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman received mine-blast injuries and contusions.
In the central district of Kherson, during the day, shelling damaged an apartment building and private houses, as well as a police car. On October 1, a drone attacked a car with two men aged 63 and 66 in the Korabel neighborhood, who sustained mine-blast injuries and shrapnel wounds; both sought medical assistance on their own.
All specialized services were working at the sites of the shelling. Over the past day, the police received 363 reports of criminal offenses and other incidents, and opened 14 proceedings under Article 438 "War Crimes" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Last week, Kherson region suffered 2276 drone attacks by Russian troops, 659 of which occurred in the Kherson city community alone.
