Restoration of the gymnasium in Korabelnyi district: 2% of works in 2025

Next year, UAH 7 million is planned to be allocated for the restoration of gymnasium No. 48 in Mykolaiv's Korabelnyi district, which will allow for only 2% of the work to be completed.

This is evidenced by the data from the draft budget of Mykolaiv for 2025.

UAH 400 million is needed to rebuild the destroyed building of gymnasium No. 48 in Mykolaiv's Korabelnyi district. These funds include the development of the project, its expertise and the construction work itself. However, only UAH 7 million is budgeted for 2025, and the reconstruction is scheduled to be completed by 2026.

As Intent previously wrote, a project for the reconstruction of gymnasium No. 48, which suffered from a missile attack in 2022, was presented in Mykolaiv. It is planned to attract funding from the United States for the reconstruction. After the reconstruction, 1326 children will be able to attend the school. The main goal of the reconstruction is to create a safe, modern and comfortable learning environment.

Later, during a meeting of the Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council on May 22, members of the Executive Committee reviewed and made amendments to the Program of Economic and Social Development of Mykolaiv for 2024-2026.

The following objects have been added to the list of proposals of budget funds managers for investment projects to be financed in 2024-2026 at the expense of the city budget:

New construction of a drainage system in the private sector of the Raketne Urochyshche neighborhood, from 9 Voennoi Street to 4 Voennoi Street, including design and survey work and expertise;
Reconstruction of Mykolaiv Gymnasium No. 48 at 164 Generala Popel Street in Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, including design and survey works and expert evaluation;
Elimination of the consequences of flooding of the Pivdennyi microdistrict - new construction of a complex of drainage facilities for engineering protection against flooding of the Pivdennyi microdistrict in Mykolaiv, including pre-design works, design works and expertise.

A separate decision was made to add the item:

New construction of coastal protection in the Velyka Korenyha neighborhood, including pre-design, design and survey work, and expertise.

The members of the executive committee supported both issues.
