Residential buildings, infrastructure of Mykolaiv region were destroyed as a result of an enemy attack

(Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration)

On July 15, the enemy attacked the region with a Shahed 131/136 UAV.

This is stated in the report of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.

Combat activity and falling debris in Pervomaisky district damaged two private houses and an outbuilding.

In Voznesensky district, the attack damaged infrastructure. A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

No one was injured.

We recently wrote about an action dedicated to war prisoners and missing persons. It was joined by 170 people, despite the alert announced at the time. People were holding posters with the names of soldiers who are in captivity or whose fate remains unknown. The main goal of the action is to constantly remind society and the authorities that the war is ongoing and that hundreds of Ukrainian defenders need to be released.

The State Emergency Service also constantly reminds the public of the increased level of danger in the summer.

Last Saturday, July 12, 57 fires broke out in the Mykolaiv region: 39 fires were recorded in open areas, 12 in the private sector, and two more in facilities and transportation. Only one fire was caused by enemy shelling. The total area of the fires was over 53 hectares. A total of 180 personnel and 45 pieces of equipment were employed by the SES. Firefighters from local fire brigades were also involved.

However, there is also good news: the construction of the water supply system for Mykolaiv is nearing completion and the system is expected to be launched in August. The project will provide the city with stable drinking water and an additional resource for irrigating fields, while reducing future tariffs for the population.
