Resident of Kherson region received more than half a million rubles in profit from the occupiers

A resident of the Kherson region is suspected of leasing property to the occupiers and receiving more than half a million rubles in profit.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The report says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the resident of the region was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of conducting economic activity in cooperation with the aggressor state (Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in December 2022, the 49-year-old suspect voluntarily registered as an individual entrepreneur in the relevant registers of the aggressor country. Later, the woman registered her company on the Russian public procurement web portal, where budgetary institutions act as contractors. Thus, she signed an agreement with the so-called "state treasury institution of the Department of Special Construction of the Kherson region "Oblremstroy" and leased non-residential and warehouse premises, sites located in Skadovsk. In the spring and summer of 2023, the suspect received 666 thousand rubles from the budget of the aggressor country to her account opened in a Russian bank.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that the occupation head of the Kamenskaya community will be tried in Kherson region. The investigation established that the 50-year-old defendant in September 2022 took the position of the so-called "head of the Kamenskoye TU of the Kakhovka VGA". In this position, the woman contributed to the formation of an illegal government body and was responsible for its functioning.

It was also reported that a resident of the region was suspected of transferring the vehicle fleet of the seized enterprise to the Russian military and the occupation administration of Kherson region.
