On January 3 and on the night of January 4, five fires were registered in the Mykolaiv region, two of which were caused by enemy drone attacks.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region.
The report says that the occupiers attacked the Vesnianska territorial community with attack drones (previously - UAVs of the "Molniya" type). Rescuers extinguished the fire on an area of 200 square meters.
Also in Ochakiv, due to shelling, a gas pipe of a low-pressure consumer gas pipeline caught fire in a private household. The fire with an area of 0.5 square meters was extinguished by local firefighters.
In addition, the report says that one fire was registered in the residential sector where a woman died. The episode occurred in the village of Vynohradivka of the Ingul territorial community of Bashtanka district. During the reconnaissance, firefighters found the body of a woman born in 1978 in the apartment. The fire was extinguished over an area of 10 square meters.

In the other two episodes, dry grass, shrubs and debris were burning in an open area in Pervomaiskyi district and in Mykolaiv city with a total area of over 2 hectares.
The causes of the fires, which are not related to hostile shelling, are currently under investigation. A total of 34 employees and 9 special vehicles were engaged by the State Emergency Service, and the Triduby local fire department assisted in extinguishing the fires.
The day before, a truck and a car, roof beams of a residential building, dry grass in an open area, and garbage were on fire in Mykolaiv Oblast. The fires were registered in Mykolaiv, Ochakiv, Pervomaisk, as well as in Kryve Ozero village of Pervomaisk district and Koblevo village of Mykolaiv district, their causes are being established.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of shell ing in Mykolaiv region, power grids, a gas pipeline, private houses and cars were damaged. As a result of last night's massive shelling, 396 subscribers in Mykolaiv district remain without electricity. Restoration works are ongoing.
It was also reported that a woman was killed and 16 people were injured with varying degrees of severity as a result of a missile strike on Mykolaiv.
