On the night of June 30, car repair shops and a storage facility for special equipment of Infoksvodokanal's Odesa branch were targeted by a drone attack.

According to the company's press service, several dozen vehicles were damaged as a result of the attack.

Mostly, these are the vehicles of repair teams, which are used by employees not only to get to the accident site but also to carry everything they need for repairs. An excavator, tankers and sludge pumps were also damaged.

The premises of the repair shop, auto electricians and engineers were destroyed to the ground along with their equipment.

"The consequences could have been much worse but for the prompt actions of our drivers and mechanics on duty. Even before the arrival of the State Emergency Service, they immediately rushed to extinguish the flames from the tankers to prevent the fire from destroying all the equipment and evacuated the surviving vehicles," the company said.

None of the employees were injured. It will take some time to restore the equipment and repair shops. After this attack, transportation logistics and the work of the water utility's emergency crews will be complicated.
