In Kherson, a pregnant woman and her child were trapped in the rubble as a result of Russian shelling. They were injured and are currently in hospital.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

A pregnant woman and her baby were injured in the city due to Russian shelling. As a result of an enemy shell hitting a residential building, a 31-year-old woman and her son, who is almost two years old, were trapped under the rubble. The mother covered the child with her body to protect him from the debris.

Both victims were pulled out from the rubble and immediately taken to a hospital where they are being treated. The boy sustained concussion and blast trauma, and the woman, who is six months pregnant, sustained a head injury and other injuries caused by the blast wave.

During this day, the aggressor country attacked more than 30 settlements in Kherson region, including residential areas and social infrastructure. One person was killed and five were wounded in the shelling. The occupiers targeted social facilities and residential areas. The attacks damaged two high-rise buildings, nine private houses, a garage and a car.

On the night of April 6, Mykolaiv was attacked by drones, and the Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities were also shelled with FPV drones. Falling debris and a blast wave caused two fires in the private sector, which were quickly extinguished by firefighters. The shelling damaged 13 private houses and a car.

On the night of April 1 and 2, Russian troops attacked Odesa region. Residential and municipal facilities in the villages of Khlibodarske and Radisne were damaged. Experts recorded the damage to property so that the victims could receive compensation.
