The mayor of Chornomorsk in Odesa region, Vasyl Huliayev, has published his family's income declaration for 2021. This became known from the website of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NACB) after the officials' declarations became public again on December 10.
According to the Center for Public Investigations, Vasyl Huliaiev declared UAH 718,326 in income for 2021, received as a salary at his main job as mayor of Chornomorsk. Huliayev's wife Olena received a monthly childbirth allowance of UAH 9,460. Her income from entrepreneurial activity amounted to UAH 1,453,639.
In 2021, the official received $67,000, 640,000 UAH, 49,000 euros incash, while his wife received $23,000, 13,000 euros, and 881,000 UAH. Mr. Huliayev has assets in precious metals worth UAH 230,000, and he keeps UAH 502,636 in the bank. His wife Olena's declared accounts are UAH 188 and UAH 106 in Privat and PUMB banks, but UAH 20,730 in MTB Bank.
Huliaiev owns an apartment in Chornomorsk with an area of 51.30 m2, and his wife has a 69 m2 apartment.
The family (the mayor has three daughters - Maryna, Anna and Olena) lives in the village of Molodizhne, Odesa district, in a house (211.1 m2) on a land plot (1,000 m2) owned by his wife.
In total, the Guliaevs own seven land plots in Molodizhne with a total area of over 1.8 hectares.
The family owns three cars, including a 1961 GAZ registered to the mayor and a 2013 VOLKSWAGEN MULTIVAN, and a 2017 AUDI Q5 registered to his wife.
The family also owns two Swiss watches: Guliaev likes Breguet, and his wife likes Hublot.
