According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the head of the community has already been notified of being suspected of receiving an undue benefit (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation found that the official received a bribe of USD 2,500 from a local businessman for "assistance" in installing a gas station in the community. The official was detained immediately after he handed over the permits to the entrepreneur and received the second part of the sum. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint and temporary removal from office is currently being considered.

Recently, the Kominternivskyi District Court of Odesa Region, located in the village of Dobroslav, sentenced the former deputy head of the Fontansky village council, Petro Shchyrba, to two years and six months in prison. He was found guilty of taking a bribe for influencing other officials.

Intent also wrote that the Odesa court ruled to arrest the head of the Fontansky village council, Natalia Krupytsia, giving her the opportunity to be released on bail in the amount of 9 million 84 thousand hryvnias. Before that, she had been notified of suspicion in a case related to the bank protection in the village of Kryzhanivka. The investigation began in 2013, when she was the head of the Kryzhanivka village council.

After that, the deputies of the Fontanka village council voted to pass a motion of no confidence in Natalia Krupytsia and to terminate her powers early.
