Polish city leaders were told about the needs of Kherson region communities

A delegation from the Kherson region met with the leaders of Polish cities at the International Economic Forum in Karpacz.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The post says that during the event, Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Anton Samoilenko and Advisor to the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Pasichnyk continue to establish international relations and look for partners to restore our region.

Thus, they presented the communities of the Kherson region to Polish officials. During the presentation, they talked about their destruction and the need for reconstruction. The mayors of Polish cities have already outlined possible areas of cooperation and are considering their implementation. It is noted that the leaders of the cities of Olsztyn, Telyatin, Ostroda, Sosnowiec, Wroclaw and others have had a fruitful dialogue.

The press service added that after the forum, a meeting will be held on the ground to establish close ties between each city and village of the Kherson region and Polish twin cities.

Earlier it was reported that on September 4, a partnership agreement was signed between the Kherson City Territorial Community and the Bratislava-Ruzhynov City District (Republic of Slovakia). At the signing of the agreement, Kherson community was represented by Deputy Mayor Vitaliy Belobrov. The Bratislava-Ruzhynov City District supports the country and, in particular, the Kherson community in its struggle for free life and territorial integrity. Vitaliy Belobrov said that it is in the capital of Slovakia that most Ukrainians have received asylum, and in Ruzhynov - most of all in Bratislava.

It was also mentioned that in late February, representatives of the Senate of the Romanian Parliament visited Kherson region. The region was visited by the chairman of the Commission on Legal Affairs, Appointment, Discipline, Immunity and Validation of the Senate of the Romanian Parliament, Christian Niculescu-Cigirlas, and a representative of the Senate of the Romanian Parliament, Andreicut Florin.
