Park reconstruction and construction of fountains planned in Ochakiv

Mykolaiv Oblast plans to reconstruct a park and build new fountains. This can attract 15 million hryvnias.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to upgrade the park infrastructure in Ochakiv.

The purpose of the park reconstruction project is social development focused on the needs of citizens Development and equipment of public spaces (restoration of leisure facilities), promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The park renovation was initiated by the Ochakiv City Council,

The project is part of the Ochakiv City Territorial Community Restoration and Development Plan for the period up to 2027.

The project plans to completely renovate the improvement of the boulevard part of the park in Ochakiv, stretching from Myru Street to the Cathedral. The main works include:

The project budget is UAH 15 million.

According to the project description, these changes are aimed at improving the conditions for walking, recreation, and adapting the space to the needs of all categories of the population.

The park renovation project is expected to take up to 36 months to complete. It is noted that the project has been implemented since February 2024 and requires funding.

It is also planned to build a rehabilitation center for veterans and servicemen with disabilities in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region. In addition to free rehabilitation services, the facility will provide veterans with opportunities to learn new professions. The total cost of the project is UAH 190 million. The work will take four years, and a donor is currently being sought to finance the construction.

Meanwhile, Mykolaiv is preparing to modernize one of its public gardens with the participation of a French architect. It is planned to raise more than UAH 30 million for the project. The reconstruction will cover the area along residential buildings No. 17 and No. 19 on Heroiv Ukrayiny Avenue. The goal of the project is to create a modern space for recreation and cultural leisure for residents and visitors.
