In the first half of 2025, hundreds of air alerts were recorded in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa regions. The longest alarms lasted in Mykolaiv region - almost 24 days.

These data were released by Top Lead analysts based on information from the alerts.in.ua platform.

In the first half of 2025, the situation with air alerts in southern Ukraine remains tense. The highest number of alarms was recorded in Mykolaiv region - 441. There were 425 alarms in Kherson region and 336 in Odesa region.

In terms of the total duration of alarms in days, the southern regions have slightly lower figures: 24 days of alarms in Mykolaiv region, 22 days in Kherson region, and 13 days in Odesa region. For comparison, in Donetsk region, alarms sounded for 109 days, and in Kharkiv region - 89 days.

The highest number of air raid alarms was recorded in Kharkiv region - more than a thousand. At the same time, they were the longest in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region and Crimea - 181 days each.

According to analysts, the statistics include only alarms recorded at the regional level. If an alarm was raised only in a single community, it was not taken into account. There is no data from Sevastopol.

In April, the Kherson region established new rules for light camouflage, which are in effect daily from 21:00 to 05:00. During this time, street lights, building facade lighting, advertising signs, and other sources of outdoor lighting must be turned off throughout the region. The decision was made to reduce the visibility of settlements in the dark and to reduce the risk of Russian strikes.

The full-scale war has created new challenges for businesses and employees - one of them is the organization of work during air raid alerts. The Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union in Odesa reminded that business leaders are obliged to take care of the safety of not only employees, but also customers or visitors, in particular when an alarm is announced in the locality where the institution operates.
