One victim, fires and destroyed houses: Mykolaiv region

On the night of July 16, air defense in the Mykolaiv region destroyed seven Shahed 131/136 UAVs and various types of imitator drones.

This was reported in a report by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Yesterday, on July 15, the enemy attacked four times with FPV drones, and at 09:30, they fired artillery at the Kutsurubska community. As a result, four private houses were destroyed in Dmytrivka village and a dry grass fire started, which was promptly extinguished. There were no casualties.

We would also like to remind you that yesterday the enemy launched a missile attack on the town of Ochakiv. He received medical assistance and his life is not in danger. His condition in the morning is stable and average.

The attack caused damage to two recreational facilities and a fire of dead wood and shrubs in an open area, which was extinguished.

As a reminder, 57 fires broke out in the Mykolaiv region on one day in July: 39 fires were recorded in open areas, 12 in the private sector, and two more in facilities and vehicles.

Of all the fires, one was caused by enemy shelling. Three crop residues were extinguished in Voznesensk, Pervomaisk and Mykolaiv districts. The total area of the fires was over 53 hectares. A total of 180 employees and 45 pieces of equipment were employed by the SES.
