Odesa-based Olis, a company specializing in machine building for the agricultural sector, has designed and fully implemented a modern cereal processing plant in Leibre, Estonia, on a turnkey basis.

According to Dmytro Kysylevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, the new production facility was built for Tõrvaaugu Mahe Talu and is equipped to the latest standards.

The plant's capacity is 24 tons per day. It is based on the modernized Optymatik-G-24 technology, which allows processing buckwheat into kernels. The plant is equipped with aspiration systems, pneumatic transport, gravity transport, as well as high-precision electronics and automation. The Olis team adapted the equipment to the specifics of the Estonian partner's premises and implemented a multi-format packaging system - from large bags to small packaging.

According to the MP, the company took advantage of the state program "5-7-9%" as well as compensation programs that allow the Ukrainian manufacturer to successfully compete with suppliers from China, Turkey, Poland, Canada, and Switzerland.

"Olis currently produces more than 200 types of grain processing equipment and has an export share of 25%. The localization of its products reaches 75%, and the company employs more than 200 specialists. The cost of the simplest cereal mill produced by the plant starts at UAH 4 million, which is why government grant programs for processing remain relevant.

Meanwhile, a waste recycling plant is planned to be built in Podilsk, Odesa region. The Turkish company MRZ Consulting has expressed interest in investing in the project and has already signed a letter of intent with local authorities.

The investors presented innovative waste recycling and energy production technologies, including gas extraction technologies that are successfully used in Turkey. The construction of the plant should improve the environmental situation in the region, create new jobs, and contribute to the sustainable development of the community. The city authorities consider the project strategically important.
