An officer of the recruitment and staffing department of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV was caught on false declaration of property and assets worth more than UAH 3.8 million.

This was reported on the website of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

The audit found that the official of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV failed to declare a land plot, an apartment he used, two apartments of his daughter, underestimated the value of his own apartment, three cars and a motorcycle, and concealed corporate rights. Criminal proceedings were initiated under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

This is part of the NACP's large-scale inspections for 2024-2025, which covered 23 declarations of officials of TCCs and JVs across Ukraine. Of the 18 completed audits, the NACP found signs of false information worth over UAH 28.5 million, illicit enrichment worth over UAH 5.6 million, and unjustified assets worth over UAH 2.6 million.

In particular, in the declaration of the head of the Dnipropetrovs'k JCCC and JV, signs of illicit enrichment were found: close persons acquired assets worth over UAH 8.8 million (two apartments, two cars, $65 thousand), the legality of which has not been confirmed. In Rivne and Kharkiv regions, officials are suspected of concealing real estate, land, income and bank assets.

Based on the NACP 's materials, law enforcement officers opened a number of criminal proceedings, and in Kharkiv, the department commander has already been fined UAH 17,000 for administrative violations due to false declarations.
