The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has launched an internal investigation into a woman's claim that she and her young child were beaten.
According to the press service of the regional TCC, they learned about the incident while monitoring the information space.
"We are currently working closely with law enforcement agencies to objectively establish all the circumstances of the incident. We are sorry to hear about such accusations. We regret the stressful situation that the mother and child have found themselves in. If the involvement and guilt of the servicemen is proved, they will be brought to justice to the fullest extent of the law. No manifestations of violation of military discipline and ethics will be left without a proper response," the regional military and technical center promised.
This refers to a trainer from Odesa, Sona Khilobok, who said that people in military uniforms did not introduce themselves or check their documents, attacked her husband from behind, used pepper spray in his eyes and forced him into a bead. She, along with her young daughter, who is one year old, was also forced into the same vehicle, pushing her in the back.
"In fact, unknown persons, without providing any documents, kidnapped me, my husband and a small child. We were driven around the neighborhood for about 30 minutes until I managed to get my child and I dropped off near our home. My husband and I do not mind serving, but not when the TCC representatives use violence and cause harm. I have bruises to the soft tissues of my head, face and right shin. My child has bruises of soft tissues, a head injury and damage to the brain. My family immediately reported the abduction of me and my child to the police. Currently, criminal proceedings have been opened and an investigation has been launched into the unlawful actions and bodily harm to me and my child," the woman said.
Earlier, a video showing military alert groups of the territorial center for equipment and social support pulling a white Audi driver out of a car that had been involved in a traffic accident was posted on social media on March 20. The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support stated that the military was not involved in the accident itself, which occurred when the driver of the Audi tried to escape from the alert group in his car.
