"The Center for Public Investigations, together with experts from the all-Ukrainian civic campaign "Certification of Local Council Deputies," analyzed the declarations of nine mayors from district centers in Odesa Oblast and found out which of them has the most land.
Among the mayors participating in the rating, Serhiy Dimitriev has no land, according to the Center for Public Investigations. Valeriy Shovkaliuk, whose family owns 19.77 hectares, is the leader in this category. Of these, 15.3 hectares in the village of Shevchenkove belong to the mayor's wife, and 4.4 hectares in the village of Starostyno belong to him.
Hennadiy Trukhanov has only 0.03 hectares of land, and his mother has 2.7 hectares.
Vasyl Huliayev 's family owns 1.8 hectares of land. All plots are located in the village of Molodizhne.
Volodymyr Novatskyi owns 0.77 hectares in Odesa, and the mayor's wife owns 0.06 hectares in Lymanets.
Valeriy Hryhorash has two plots of 0.4 hectares of land in the village of Zlatoustove, and Andriy Abramchenko 's family has 0.26 hectares in Izmail.
Abramchenko himself has two plots of 0.14 hectares, and his wife has three plots of 0.12 hectares.
Vitaliy Grazhdan owns two plots of 0.21 hectares in Shabo and Salgani, and Oleh Albansky has one plot of 0.16 hectares in Kuyalnyk.
Former mayor Anatoliy Ivanov owns 0.09 hectares of land in Podilsk.
Analysts also found that only two mayors declared jewelry. Vasyl Huliayev wears a Swiss Breguet watch, and his wife has a Hublot. Hennadii Trukhanov has five watches, including Rolex, Ulysse Nardin, Patek Philippe, Breguet, and A. Lange & Sohne, and the head of Odesa's mother has a Bovet. In addition, the woman has several valuable pieces of jewelry: rings, earrings, pendants.
In their declarations, the mayors state that they acquired all this before submitting their first declaration.
