Odesa City Council Loans UAH 13 Million to Two Companies

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered the transfer of reimbursable financial assistance to the private company Tellus and the limited liability company Norris Group.

According to the orders, the private company received UAH 12.8 million from the city council, and the LLC received UAH 800 thousand.

The money was allocated as part of the city's target program to increase the competitiveness of Odesa's economy for 2022-2028, approved by the deputies on February 9, 2022.

Reimbursable financial assistance is the amount of funds received by a taxpayer for use under a contract that does not provide for the accrual of interest or other types of compensation in the form of a fee for the use of such funds, and is mandatory for return.

According to the YouControl service, the company was registered in 1998. The owner is currently Victoria Ivanchenko. The main activity is the production of medical and dental instruments and materials. The company also manufactures prosthetic and orthopedic products for civilians and the military and provides social assistance without providing accommodation for people with disabilities and the elderly.

As for the limited liability company, it was registered in 2022. The owners are Yevhenia Kulesha and Gevorg Yeghanyan. The company's main activity is food production. The term of financial support, in accordance with the procedure for its provision, is up to 24 months from the date of transfer of funds.
