Over the past day, dozens of localities in the region, including Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav and the city of Kherson, came under massive shelling.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District.
The occupants used drones, aircraft and artillery. Residential areas and critical and social infrastructure facilities came under fire.
As a result of the shelling:
One person died and eight others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
In addition, at around 06:00 on May 1, Russian military attacked a cyclist with a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson.
A 65-year-old man was fatally wounded and died on the spot.
Local authorities urge residents to evacuate to safer regions.
As a reminder, on April 30, at around 10:30 a.m., an enemy drone attacked a public transport stop in Kherson. As a result of the attack, a man was killed on the spot, who is currently being identified.
Recently, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone on a garbage truck. An employee of a utility company was injured as a result of the strike.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked a taxi in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The attack on civilian transport occurred at noon, when passengers were in the bus. At least ten people were injured in the attack, including a 17-year-old teenager.
In addition, on March 9, Russians once again fired at settlements in the Kherson region. The attacks killed one person and injured eight others. The Russian military fired at civilian infrastructure with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and various types of UAVs.
The Russian military directed attack drones at two private houses in Ukrayinka and Shevchenkivka, which were damaged. Artillery fire damaged five private houses in Ingulka. In addition, the Russian proxies hit a forklift in Novovorontsovka, two private houses in Osokorivka and Shyroka Balka with FPV drones.
