As a result of the Russian Federation’s morning missile attack on September 13 in Odesa, the distribution center for the EVA retail chain—which supplied goods to the Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions—was completely destroyed. None of the facility’s employees were injured.

Company experts are currently assessing the exact amount of damage caused. At the same time, the EVA team is quickly reorganizing its logistics processes to ensure an uninterrupted supply of goods to stores in the southern regions.
EVA is Ukraine’s largest national drugstore chain, specializing in the sale of cosmetics, perfumes, personal hygiene products, and household chemicals. The retailer was founded in 2002 in Dnipro and currently operates more than 1,000 retail locations throughout Ukraine, as well as its own online store, EVA.UA. The company regularly expands its logistics hubs and develops its portfolio of private-label brands, providing jobs for thousands of employees.
Earlier, Russian drones damaged the civilian rescue tugboat“Sapphire” in one of the ports of the Odesa region. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured. According to the Ministry of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine, the vessel was clearly marked in accordance with the requirements of international maritime conventions; however, Russia committed yet another gross violation of international humanitarian and maritime law.
