A journalist's home was damaged in Odesa as a result of a Russian missile strike

<span><span><span><span><span><span>As a result of a Russian missile strike on a high-rise building in Odesa on September 12, journalist Yulia Boychenko’s apartment was damaged. Currently, due to the risk of the building’s structure collapsing, she does not have access to her home and cannot retrieve her personal belongings.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

The journalist noted that, according to experts, there is a risk of the building collapsing further. Therefore, she now needs to find a new apartment to move into. 

At the time of the Russian attack, Yulia Boychenko was not at home but in Mykolaiv. The apartment was empty. 

The journalist admitted that this is already the fourth time since the start of the full-scale war that Russian shelling has damaged the house or apartment where she lives. According to her, the worst experience was in Mykolaiv when a rocket struck.

On the night of September 12, a Russian missile also struck the Odesa apartment of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska’s family in Arkadia. The residence sustained significant damage. According to the athlete, the apartment was struck directly by a “Kalibr” missile.

On September 13, the Russians shelled Odesa. Hits on high-rise buildings were recorded. Twenty-eight people sought medical attention. Among the injured were two children. As a result of the morning attack, the upper floors of a high-rise residential building and private homes were damaged. A fire also broke out on the grounds of the Botanical Garden. Warehouses and a children’s sanatorium were damaged. Information regarding the victims is being verified.
