On the night of September 12, a Russian missile struck the apartment of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska's family in Arkadia. The home sustained significant damage during the attack on Odesa.

The apartment sustained serious damage as a result of the Russian Federation’s nighttime missile attack on Odesa. According to the athlete, her family’s apartment was struck directly by a “Kalibr” missile.
“This is the apartment that belongs to our family. This is what the ‘Russian world’ looks like. A direct hit by a ‘Kalibr’ missile,” wrote Dayana Yastremska, showing the aftermath of the strike in her Stories.

On the night of September 12, Russia attacked Odesa. A high-rise residential building was damaged as a result of the shelling.
Throughout the morning, the number of casualties gradually rose—initially, 12 people were reported injured, then 17, including a five-month-old infant.
According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, as of 11 a.m., the number of casualties had risen to 35 people. Rescue workers saved 13 people, including two children. Two more people remain unaccounted for—search and rescue operations are ongoing.
At another location, three more residential buildings were damaged—one of which was completely destroyed—along with a gas pipeline. No information regarding casualties at this location has been received yet.
In Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast, a local hotel was damaged as a result of an enemy strike. According to witnesses, there are casualties inside the building; several people were carried out unconscious from the damaged structure.
Around 5:00 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of possible launches of “Kalibr” cruise missiles from the Black Sea and the threat of ballistic missile attacks from occupied Crimea.
