Death toll rises as a result of occupants' attack on Kherson region

On the afternoon of March 1, Russian occupation forces attacked the Korabelny district of Kherson. Four people were mortally wounded as a result of the shelling.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

At about 13:20 terrorists fired at civilians right at the entrance of a residential building. According to the head of the region, initially it was known about three people killed on the spot - two elderly women among them. Two more Kherson residents were seriously injured and were urgently hospitalized.

Later, it became known that the number of victims had increased: an 85-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man died in the hospital from their injuries. Thus, the daytime shelling claimed the lives of four people. In addition, according to the Kherson MVA, the Korabelny district was under fire during the morning attack. Then educational institutions and high-rise buildings were hit, resulting in one person being wounded.

Yesterday, eight civilians and two policemen were injured in Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling, as they hit a mine. Houses, vehicles and infrastructure were also damaged. In different localities, four apartment buildings and 11 private houses, a factory's administrative building, a dormitory, a critical infrastructure facility, four trolleybuses, two minibuses, and two cars were damaged.

An FPV drone hit a private house in Mylove, and artillery damaged a house in Stepanivka. In Velyka Oleksandrivka, an unidentified device exploded during the inspection of a house, injuring two policemen (40 and 43 years old) with contusions and shrapnel wounds.

In the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, a drone dropped explosives on a dormitory, injuring an 80-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man. Later, another FPV drone injured a 30-year-old man, and a trolleybus and a minibus were damaged on the territory of a transportation company.
