Occupants hunted civilians with drones and destroyed 18 houses in Kherson region

The occupiers attacked at least 30 settlements in Kherson region, damaging housing and infrastructure. There are dead and wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

On June 29-30, 2025, Russian troops attacked at least 30 settlements in the Kherson region. In particular, Kherson, Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Zolota Balka and Oleksandrivka were under fire.

The occupiers attacked with drones, artillery and aircraft, targeting residential areas and social infrastructure. An apartment building, 17 private homes, gas pipelines, mobile phone towers, a warehouse, a garage and outbuildings were damaged.

As a result of these attacks, two people were killed and eight others were injured.

One of the wounded is a resident of Bilozerka who sought medical attention after the nighttime shelling. The explosion in a neighboring house caused a 43-year-old man to sustain contusion, concussion and mine-blast trauma. A 70-year-old woman, whose house was hit by a shell, sustained the same injuries. She is currently in hospital.

Around 14:30, the Russian army opened fire on the central district of Kherson. As a result of this shelling, a man was killed - his identity is still being established. Another 61-year-old local resident sustained explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds. In Korabelny district, a Kherson resident born in 1970 came under fire, he sustained injuries to his face, torso, arms and legs.

On June 28-29, Russian troops shelled at least 25 localities in Kherson region. Nine private houses, an outbuilding, a bus and several cars were damaged. Civilians were injured in the attacks - eight people were wounded.

Ukrainian air defense shot down five Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones over the region.

Despite the attacks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to control most of the islands in the Dnipro floodplain in Kherson region. According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, Russian troops have been trying to land in the southern part of the region, particularly on the islands of Nestryga, Kozulisky and Zabych, but to no avail.
