New strikes kill people and destroy houses in Kherson region

During the day, Russian invaders shelled 34 settlements in Kherson region. Civilians were killed and injured as a result of the shelling. Houses, cars and infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to the post, the city of Kherson, as well as villages and towns in the frontline area, came under enemy fire. Two people were killed and three others were injured as a result of the attacks.

The occupants were fired upon by artillery, attacked with drones and air strikes were carried out. At least five apartment buildings, six private houses, a gas station, a garage and several civilian cars were damaged. Critical and social infrastructure facilities were also targeted.

Settlements that came under fire: Novodmytrivka, Poniativka, Beryslav, Znamianka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Shlyakhove, Honcharne, Novoraysk, Kizomys, Antonivka, Veletynske, Beregove, Sadove, Bilozerka, Sofiyivka, Havrylivka, Virivka, Zarichne, Zmiyivka, Kozatske, Lvov, Mykolaivka, Novotyanka, Odradokamyanka, Olgivka, Osokorivka, Sablukivka, Tokarivka, Tyahyntsi, Ukrainka, and the city of Kherson.

Defense forces, emergency services and utility companies are working at the sites of the attacks to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.

The day before, Russians shelled the Kherson region from the air and ground, hitting residential areas and infrastructure in more than 40 settlements. Eleven people were injured, and dozens of houses, a gas station, a gas pipeline, and cars were destroyed.

On July 4, enemy drones repeatedly hit Kherson. In the morning, a woman sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her leg after an explosive was dropped from a UAV. In the Central district, two more people were injured - a 34-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, both with explosive injuries and wounds.
