CHP worker killed in Kherson during shelling

A worker of a thermal power plant in Kherson was killed in a Russian shelling.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to preliminary data, around 14:00, a 66-year-old woman came under enemy fire. She received injuries incompatible with life and died on the spot.

The circumstances of the shelling are being clarified.

Local authorities expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

As Intent wrote, in the Kherson region, the past day was spent under massive attacks by Russian troops. Dozens of settlements came under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery shelling.

Nine people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Yaroslav Shanko, the head of Kherson MVA, reported separately on the situation in the regional center. According to him, Kherson, Sadove, Komyshany, Prydniprovske and Antonivka were under attack during the day.

Residential buildings, as well as educational and medical institutions, were damaged in the community. Three people were injured in the attacks.

As a result of Russian shelling, 36 houses were damaged and one person was killed.

Earlier, as a result of the shelling, eight civilians sustained injuries of varying severity. The invaders caused significant damage to the civilian sector, damaging three multi-storey buildings and 26 private estates. In addition to residential buildings, an administrative building, office premises, outbuildings, agricultural machinery, as well as private garages and cars of the region's residents were destroyed.

In addition, Russian troops attacked a taxi in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The attack on civilian transport took place at noon, when the bus was carrying passengers.

On March 9, Russians once again shelled settlements in the Kherson region. The attacks killed one person and injured eight others. The Russian military fired at civilian infrastructure with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, and various types of UAVs.
