New monetary valuation of hromada lands to be carried out in Kherson

Kherson has adopted an order to conduct a normative monetary assessment of the lands of the city's territorial community.

The decision was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko.

According to the document, all land plots of various categories and forms of ownership within the Kherson city territorial community will be monetized. The work will be carried out at the expense of the local budget. The assessment should be carried out in the form of technical documentation, which will be approved in accordance with the established procedure.

The results will be transferred to the State Land Cadastre to update the data on the value of land.

The information on the assessment and its results will be published on the official website of Kherson City Council and other resources of the city authorities.

The head of the city's military administration retained control over the implementation of this order.

It should be added that the normative monetary valuation of land is needed to determine its official value. This data is used to calculate land tax, rent and other payments to the budget.

The relevance of this assessment depends on the fair filling of the local budget, as it takes into account changes in the economy, development of territories and infrastructure.

The results are also needed to formalize land sale and lease transactions, enter information into the state land cadastre, and ensure transparency in land relations.

In early June, the President appointed Yaroslav Shanko as the head of the Kherson City Military Administration. His predecessor, Roman Mrochko, who had been heading the administration since March 2023, was dismissed in April 2025.
