In occupied Sevastopol, the Russian authorities have introduced new restrictions on the sale of fuel to the public. From now on, local residents will be able to buy no more than 20 liters of fuel per car, and they will be able to re-apply for a refueling permit only after seven days.

This was reported by Krym.Realii with reference to the mayor of Sevastopol Mykhailo Razvozhayev.

In addition, since June 7, individuals have been banned from refueling with previously purchased coupons of the TES gas station chain. Now only services and organizations that ensure the life of the city can use such coupons.

To control fuel sales, the occupation authorities have introduced a system of personal QR codes. They must be received through a special bot in the Max messenger. The number of codes available daily will depend on the amount of fuel available for free sale.

You can refuel your car only after confirming the QR code at the gas station. It must be used between 09:00 and 21:00. The vehicle owner will be able to receive the next code only after seven calendar days.

A few hours after the launch of the new system, Razvozhayev said that all the QR codes for Sunday were distributed, and a new batch would be available only the next evening.

It is also allowed to fill fuel in canisters, but the original vehicle registration certificate must be presented. The car's data must match the information specified in the issued QR code.

Against the backdrop of the new restrictions, Russian and Ukrainian sources report complications with fuel supplies to the occupied Crimea due to logistical problems and strikes on the fuel infrastructure of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, the occupation authorities of Crimea banned the sale of fuel for cash and set a limit of no more than 20 liters of fuel per person for holders of previously purchased fuel coupons.

On the night of May 30, operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces conducted a series of strikes on enemy fuel infrastructure facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea, aimed at weakening its logistics capabilities and providing troops with fuel.

In addition, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that fuel problems in the occupied Crimea are the result of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Russian military and fuel logistics along the Azov Sea coast.
